Based on Efenstor's fanciful view of the world "Myths" merges indigenous Siberian, Scandinavian and Celtic folk elements with symphonic metal and new age into a complex magical mixture. The main themes of "Myths" are the forces of nature, peoples of the North, magic and childhood. The album features two musical trilogies: of magic and of the peoples of Siberia.

"Out of the Caves!" is the most symphonic of Efenstor's works yet. Incorporating Northern Eurpoean folk traditions it guides the listener through fancy lands of the North embodied in diffenent moods and feelings. "Out of the Caves!" features the magestic organ prelude "Winter Overture", shamanic "The Lord of Winter Nights" (dedicated to Ernest Seton Thompson and Quonab), symphonic rock suite "Forest Strider", choral metal "Kampen av Volotene" and the title symphonic new age "At the Dawn They Went out of the Caves".

This 2002 EP album (22 min) is the only Efenstor's folk techno rock experiment. Too heavy to be called dance music, too danceable to be called rock. The album is dedicated to Theodor Severin Kittelsen and J.R.R. Tolkien.
